Senior Director of Application Development – This position is responsible for all facets of enterprise application development including customer management, project management, application architecture, business and systems analysis, and software engineering.   He/she is expected to participate with Sr. Management team meetings making appropriate recommendations for improvements and/or additions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the information technology services and operations to support the mission of Paradigm.  The Senior Director of Application Development works closely with business partners and serves as a strategic liaison to the IT department.   He/she is responsible for the enterprise application architecture as well as all facets of the internal system development lifecycle methodology.

 

Sr. Manager Software Engineering and Technical Architecture - Plan, coordinates, and supervises all activities related to Software Engineering and Technical Architecture.  Establishes development standards and overall technical architecture for all Paradigm applications throughout the enterprise.   Manages integration technology solutions that support and promote collaboration with business partners.  Manages a team of software engineering professionals composed of employees and contractors with various technology expertise.

Qualifications: B.S. Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is REQUIRED; Advance degree is a plus.  At least 8 years of experience in technical applications design, development and management; with a successful track record of managing applications development teams in web-based development, distributed systems and web services.  Minimum 5 years of .NET application management experience in a mid to large size organization; minimum of 5 years software development management experience using C#, VB.net, and BizTalk. Demonstrated successful implementation of SDLC ensuring minimum required development artifacts are developed and completed by development team members. Advanced knowledge of solution development, systems analysis/design, programming techniques, testing, and release management. Demonstrated ability and experience working in a matrix environment. Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable. Effective communication, organizational, presentation and execution skills required (both written and oral) Strong interactive problem solving, decision-making, and leadership skills; Ability to multi-task to support multiple initiatives.

 

Sr. Systems Administrator – this position holds accountability for performing the analysis, design, development or evaluation, testing and implementation of computer software as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree, and 3+ years experience in Windows application, web server, 24x7 environments.  Advanced knowledge of Server technologies: Windows 2003-2008RS; Exchange; Active Directory; networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP); and advanced ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and to communicate and support clients.  Must have experience working with: Virtualization; HP Server hardware and management technologies. Must possess excellent communications; interpersonal skills; and reasoning skills.

 

Technical Support Specialist I/II – this position holds accountability for providing customer technical support for software, hardware, and other system needs to employees and contracted personnel; and for using the designated call tracking software to log, prioritize, assign, research, and close customer requests.  Additionally, it is accountable for supporting desktop and laptop computers, application installation and other designed technical systems.

I.                     Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma.  Bachelor degree desired from an accredited college or university with study in computer science, engineering, management information systems or equivalent business experience desired.  Knowledge of and experience using Windows XP/Vista/78 and MS Office Suite.  Basic hardware component understanding.  A minimum of one year experience in customer support environment, including one year experience effectively documenting and assessing problems and requests over the phone and/or via email.  Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, documents, write correspondence, proposals, technical documentation; and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

II.                    Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma.  Bachelor degree desired from an accredited college or university with study in computer science, engineering, management information systems or equivalent business experience desired.  MCP or MCSE coursework preferred.  A+ Certification desired.  A minimum of two years of experience in systems support, including work with Microsoft Windows and Windows applications in a corporate Active Directory environment.  One year experience effectively troubleshooting and resolving problems over the phone, and a minimum of one year in a customer service role, or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.  Ability to provide training/assistance to level I staff.  Ability to diagnose hardware problems to the component level and resolve software/networking issues independently.  Working knowledge of printers,  cell phones and other hardware peripherals.  Conceptual knowledge of gateways, bridges, routers, switches and TCP/IP protocol. Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, documents, etc.  Ability to write correspondence, proposals, technical documentation, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.  Ability to prepare and communicate department and project work plans to company management, project team members and department personnel. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret advanced technical instructions and comprehend abstract and concrete variables. Good problem solving skills and data analysis skills required.

 

Business System Analyst – Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.  The position holds accountability for leading and facilitating requirements elicitation sessions among business and technical users, writing business and technical requirements and specifications, providing functional/conceptual/logical design documents, building applicable business case models, preparing and/or implementing UAT scenarios and facilitating UAT testing. 

Working with the Project Manager(s) to follow project plans, convey accurate project status, and identify issues and risks. May prepare time estimates for completing projects. May be assigned to coordinate projects from development through implementation, working with their organization’s IT workers, as well as clients, vendors, and consultants.

Prepares application’s workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.  This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Works on problems of limited to diverse scope involving task specific or cross-functional teams. Education - College degree, preferably a B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science or a degree with Clinical focus from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in programming in a distributed computing environment or clinical/healthcare experience. Education - Minimum one (1) year of work experience business analysis OR any combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Required non-technical proficiencies and knowledge -  Can demonstrate the ability to interface with business clients, interact with individuals at all levels of the organization; demonstrate quantitative and analytic skills; Ability to make judgments, decisions and suggestions for procedural improvements; Ability to handle fast-paced work flow and multi-task; Detail-oriented and accurate; Ability to develop, understand and translate detailed requirements documentation from business client requirements; Possessing outstanding oral and written communication skills; Adaptive and open to frequent changes in work environment and prioritization; Able to manage multiple competing deadlines. Required technical proficiencies/knowledge - Basic knowledge of common reporting tools and technology; Basic knowledge of database structure and design; Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and change management; Basic understanding of data transport and interfaces; Basic knowledge of software quality assurance methodology and practice; Basic knowledge with MS Office; Basic knowledge of MS SharePoint technology (where applicable).

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.  Analyzes, evaluates and modifies existing or proposed systems and related devices. Coordinates with users to ensure timely and efficient manufacturer's software release installation. May design, encode, test and debug programs or user defined modifications. Lead Systems Analyst & Project Manager - Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to project management and application development.   Lead Analyst is responsible for one or more applications serving as the primary IT owner of the application.   The lead analyst is responsible for all features and functions within the application, as well as complete logical design and functional specifications.  Lead analyst is responsible for overall project management including the development and tracking of project plans required to deliver requested application functionality.  Supervises a small team of systems and business analyst in support of the applications and projects.   Ensures application integration with other internal and external applications.

DBA, SQL – Responsible for performance, integrity and security of Paradigm SQL server infrastructure. The position is accountable for performing the analysis, design, development and evaluation of SQL server infrastructure as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree, with 8-10 years experience in database development/administration with MS SQL Server (2005-2008) Have sound theoretical and practical knowledge of: database principles and methodologies, performance tuning and optimization, physical data modeling, ETL/ELT, security (both AD and SQL server, capacity planning, and SQL standards and best practices.  An understanding of Active Directory, experience configuring/optimizing MS SQL servers connected to SAN storage. Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking. Experience implementing MS SQL server high availability and clustering.  Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance related issues including MS SQL Server related CPU memory, I/O, blocking locks and deadlocks, disk utilization, and other resource contention.  Strong knowledge of and experience with backups, restores, recovery models, and disaster recovery scenarios. Advanced knowledge of server technologies: Windows 2003-2008RS; SQL Server 2005-2008RS; and Active Directory.  Must have experience working with the following: supporting SQL server running on enterprise class server/storage; supporting SQL server in a 24x7 environment; working knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP); and advanced ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and to communicate and support clients.  MS Database Certification is preferred though not required.  Must have excellent communication skills.
