 About The Hedge Fund
A visionary quantitative trading hedge fund has been creating the trading methodologies of the future but employing them today.
The firm has roots starting 1995. In 2007, the firm was spun off from a leading multi billion hedge fund, while still retaining close ties to it. The firm has offices in Greenwich and New York; It also has research affiliates in Beijing, China and Bangalore, India; It plans to expand further into Tel Aviv and London.
 
1. Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (NYC, Greenwich, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong)
Job Requirements
A leading private hedge fund is seeking to hire 8 to 20 traders and teams, with a track record of at least a year. Candidates with simulated results and secondhand experience will also be considered.
Equities, futures and/or currencies are traded in fully automated systematic strategies.  Payouts are possibly up to 20% for the right candidates.
Experienced Portfolio Manager had realized Sharpe Ratio 2.0 and above with or without a team.
Profits earned over $10 MM preferred, but will consider smaller and promising emerging managers.
 
2. Hedge Fund Quantitative Researcher in Greenwich, CTJob Requirements
A leading private hedge fund seeks for a financial researcher with experience to identify alphas in the asset classes of equities, futures, and currencies, medium or high frequency. Candidates will work on ways to monetize academic financial literature.  Good programming skills required.
 
3. Hedge Fund Data Product Researcher in Greenwich, CTJob Requirements
Responsible for identifying and evaluating data vendors and data products that could be of beneficial to its quantitative research activities of the firm.  Prior experience with financial data vendors preferred.  Position is based in Old Greenwich, CT.  Reports to the CEO and COO/CTO.
 
4. Senior Software Engineer, Trading Systems Development:
Successful candidate will join a team of developers to design and develop low latency trading solutions for the trading of financial instruments worldwide. Must have strong experience in c++/unix with good knowledge of socket and multithreaded programming.  Familiarity with Perl is helpful.  Trading System Development experience (e.g. Market Data, automated trading, smart routing, exchange connectivity) not necessary but is a bonus. Position primarily located in Greenwich, CT
5. Trading System Operator (Development):
We are looking for a candidate to join our trading system operations team in a development capacity. The candidate must have strong development background, very strong problem solving ability, good communications skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a very fast-paced environment. The role will have some support and on-call responsibilities. From a technical perspective, the candidate must be familiar with Unix, have very strong Perl and sql skills. C or Java candidates will be considered if they demonstrate ability to learn Perl quickly.  Position is located in Greenwich, CT.
6. Trading System Operator (Support):
We are looking for a candidate to fill the support role in our trading system operations team. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, excellent problem solving ability, attention to detail, and basic exposure to Unix, shell scripting or Perl, and sql. The candidate will work on various trading related operations: testing new trading destinations, reconciling trades/positions/pnl, handling trader requests, troubleshooting fills and trading issues, etc.  Position is located in Greenwich, CT.
7. Data Analyst:
The will develop software for data collection, validation and monitor daily data processing operations.  Must be familiar with Unix/Linux environment, C++/C and Object Oriented programming and basic shell scripting and common utilities. Knowledge of Perl scripting is preferred but not required. Familiar with software design and implementation skills, data structures and basic algorithms.  Previous knowledge about finance is not required.  Basic knowledge of statistics is preferred.   Position is located in Greenwich, CT.
8. Trading System Operator: 
Two (2) candidates needed, one based in London, and one based in Singapore.  The candidate will be monitoring/supporting trading operations and data services, and developing and testing related software. Must be familiar with Unix/Linux environment, C++/C, Object Oriented programming, Perl, basic shell scripting, common utilities. Strong analytical background and troubleshooting skills, familiar with software design, data structures, and basic algorithms.  Previous knowledge of finance is not required.  Basic knowledge of statistics is preferred.  Position is located in Greenwich, CT.
9. Web Programmer/Script Coder (wqweb):
We are looking for a web developer with the following skills: Solid web/cgi programming background in Unix/Linux environment and basic shell scripting; Familiar with scripting languages such as Perl, PHP in LAMP package (Apache, MySql); Previous knowledge about finance is not required; Position is located in Greenwich, CT.
 
10. Quantitative Researcher:
Position in Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv;   will create quantitative and computer-based models to predict the movements of worldwide stock markets and financial markets. Candidates need not have prior knowledge of financial markets but must have a strong interest in learning about stock markets and financial markets. Our highly accomplished senior staff will provide the new hires with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed.
Job requirements:-    Graduated with Cum Laude or higher honors in bachelor’s degree from Technion, Tel Aviv University or Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in a highly analytical field, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or any other field that is highly analytical and quantitative
-    Preferably have or will soon have a Master or PhD degree from one of Israel's best universities
-    Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.
-    Be competent in a programming language (C++ or C)
-    Understand English
-    Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
-    Have a strong work ethic
 
11. Quantitative Research Scientist:
Position in Thailand; looking for 5 to 8 research scientists to create quantitative and computer-based models that seek to predict the movements of worldwide stock markets and financial markets. Candidates need not have prior knowledge in this field but must have a strong interest in learning about it. Our highly accomplished senior staff will provide the new hires with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed. Successful candidates will work in Beijing, China for up to 6 months, followed by relocation back to Thailand.
Candidates for the research scientist position must:
- Possess or expect a BS degree from one of Thailand's top 2 universities in a highly analytical field, such as:
Engineering Mathematics
Physics
Computer Science or any other field that is highly analytical and quantitative
- Ranked as top 20% in class for bachelor’s degree
- International or regional Mathematical Olympiad medal is a plus
- Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.
- Be competent in a programming language (C++ or C)
- Understand English
- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
- Have a strong work ethic
 
12. Quantitative Research Scientist:
Position in Russia; looking for 5 to 8 research scientists to create quantitative and computer-based models that seek to predict the movements of worldwide stock markets and financial markets. Candidates need not have prior knowledge in this field but must have a strong interest in learning about it. Our highly accomplished senior staff will provide the new hires with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed. Successful candidates will work in Beijing, China for 3 - 6 months, followed by relocation back to Russia.
Candidates for the research scientist position must:
- Possess or expect a BS degree from one of Russia's top 2 universities in a highly analytical field, such as:
Engineering Mathematics
Physics
Computer Science or any other field that is highly analytical and quantitative
 
- Ranked as top 10% in class for bachelor’s degree
- Mathematics Olympiad medal is a plus
- Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.
- Be competent in a programming language (C++ or C)
- Understand English
- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
- Have a strong work ethic
