CFO - Chief Financial Office - Software Industry
Location: New York, NY
Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
CFO - Chief Financial Officer - Software Industry, Global and IPO experience needed.
Located in the Greater New York area, we are an exciting software technology firm that specializes in award winning solutions for Microsoft products. We have experienced tremendous growth and expansion in the past five years and have strategic partnerships and locations worldwide.
What are we looking for?
Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking for a sharp and energetic CFO to join our team. You must have a background in the software industry with IPO and Global experience.
• Currently licensed CPA with Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred
• 10+ years of previous CFO or executive level finance experience
• Must have software or technology industry experience, preferably with start-up or small to mid size companies with rapid growth
• Must have previous IPO/Road Show experience, preferably within software industry
• Global or international experience - must be up to date with global market
• Experience in a senior financial-management role, supervising a team
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strategic thinking and planning skills
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Ability and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Understanding business processes and operations
• Understanding industry trends and market forces
• Strong Leadership and motivation skills and sound judgment
What will you be doing?
This is a high level executive position with very hands on responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
• Accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends.
• Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
• Maintain internal audit function and coordinate with external auditors, insurance, system integrity, customer fraud, government compliance.
• Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers, pension funds and investments.
• Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
• Manage a finance team of 4, including a Controller.
