Job Summary - Data Quality Analyst

This role is for someone with experience designing, building and implementing Data Quality Solutions. This person should be able to understand data requirements and identify where Data Quality techniques should be applied. Needs to be able to analyses/assess the quality of data, create design documents, build test and implement Data Quality controls, improvement/standardization, monitoring and reporting. Also needs to be able to interpret data requirements and develop them into Data Quality rules as an enterprise solution to be reused across applications. Must have experience with some data quality tool preferably DataFlux.

Job Description: Data Quality Functional Analyst/Programmer

. Experience playing a lead role in designing and implementing enterprise-wide Data Quality Solutions
. Understand the need for process improvement frameworks and the need for standard solutions and reusability
. Gather requirements and interput into Data Quality rules then developing and implementing reusable data quality rules
. Quality functional analyst that can assess data and design data quality solutions to improve the data
. Data Quality programmer that can design, build and implement data quality applications to ensure continued data quality management.
. Proven analytical skills to properly assess data and make recommendation for enterprise wide data improvement/standardization requirements
. Ability to gather Data Quality requirements, design, build, test, implement and support Data Quality Controls, Monitoring and reporting applications using standard Data Quality Tools.
. Ability to resolve complex issues relate to enterprise wide data quality concerns
. Ability to assist in developing data quality enterprise solutions that are in alignment with strategic technology roadmap and emerging industry trends
. Management style that exhibits high energy, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and results orientation
. Effective in matrix management and team building
. Poise, maturity and communication skills necessary to represent the data architecture group internally and externally
. Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills
. Data Quality Analyst to assist with the development of:
o A Data Quality Framework and Capability Maturity Model
o Development of a quantitative maturity assessment/scoring model
o Execution of Data Quality Capability Maturity Assessment for specific functional areas of the business

Provide assistance in defining an enterprise data quality architecture including:
o Data Quality Process Standards
o Data Quality frameworks and templets for consistency
o Data Quality Tools and Infrastructure environment
o Architectural Deliverables associated with Portfolio Management and SDLC
o Provides leadership and direction for the definition of an enterprise data quality that supports the business information needs
o Collaborate across company's information management to identify opportunities to leverage common solutions and extend the adoption of standards.
o Communicate with team members and other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner in order to keep them apprised of data architecture status and relevant issues of interest to, and impact on, the clients and their business areas.


Technical qualifications will include:
. Data assessment, Profiling, Scoring, improvement/standardization and monitoring
. Physical Data Quality design, build, test and implement applications
. SDLC/PMF skills
. SQL and PL/SQL experience
. Tool(s) proficiency such as Data Profiling, Improvement/Standardization and Quality Management
